How do I
move my domain to you?
.nz names: There is no charge to transfer a .nz
domain name into our registry. Simply obtain the UDAI from the
present registrar, (this can usually be obtained through the
control panel you have with the registrar, or by emailing them to
ask for it.) if you then forward it on to us we will initiate the
transfer.
.com .net .org names: There is a small fee for
these to be transfered as the registrar will add an additional
year to the registration. ($16.95). You will need to obtain
the EPP key from the present registrar (this can usually be
obtained through the control panel you have with the registrar,
or by emailing them to ask for it.) if you then forward it on to
us we will initiate the transfer. These transfers work on a email
confirmation basis so you will need to ensure that the Admin
contact email address is set to yours or one you can access at
the present registry.
Or you can leave the domain name at the present registry
and just change the nameservers over to ours:
'changing
nameservers'
The steps you need to take to transfer to our hosting:
1) Complete our order form so we can create the hosting account
2) Upload your files to the new account using the servers IP (which
will be emailed to you) as the FTP host
3) change the Nameservers (DNS) over to ours (as outlined above) at
the present registry.
Domain Name Transfers:
As we are a hosting company and not a registrar we only manage
domain names that we host, to change the nameservers to another
hosts (so we no longer host it) will require you to transfer the
domain name away, this is done by requesting the EPP or UDAI key.
